Nepali Association of Oregon (NAO) is proud to host this year's Northwest Nepali picnic to be held at Blue Lake Park on September 1st, 2007. As this is a Northwest picnic, we will be joined by our friends and families from Idaho, Vancouver, B.C. and Washington. This is a potluck picnic where our wonderful community members are bringing an array of delicious food to share with the rest of the group. Please mark your calendar for a fun-filled day of food, events and quality time.

Blue Lake Regional Park is located between Marine Dr and Sandy Blvd off NE 223rd Ave. Our reserved picnic spot is now Multnomah A and B.

Games:
As it happens every year with the Northwest picnic, there will be a Volleyball tournament where players from Oregon, Vancouver, B.C. and Washington will battle for the crown. Come and support your team. Besides volleyball, we will also have games for kids like spoon game, tug-o-war and other games like bingo and antakshari.

Notes:
There is an entry fee to the park. For cars, it is $4.

Volleyball Tournament
As an annual event at the Northwest Picnic, a volleyball tournament was held to claim the rights to the running shield. The finals was played between Nepal Seattle Society and our own Nepali Association of Oregon (Team A). Nepal Seattle Society came in first place and keeps the running shield for another year.
